Recommended Use:
2 tablets 3 times daily. For adults only.
Cautions:
Consult a healthcare practitioner: 1) prior to use if you have pus draining from sores, headaches or eye problems due to yin or blood deficiency; 2) prior to use if you have peptic ulcers, history of kidney stones or liver disease. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience watery stools, diarrhea, vomiting and dizziness; 3) if symptoms persist or worsen or 4) for use beyond duration 8 days. Do not simultaneously take the cold medicine and please consult your health care practitioner. Do not use: 1) in cases of spitting blood, tuberculosis, intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain or diarrhea of unknown origin or any inflammatory condition of the intestines; 2) if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroid, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; 3) in cases of yin deficiency, nausea or vomiting, excess dampness, spleen or stomach deficiency and diarrhea due to kidney deficiency, loose stool or loss of appetite due to cold from deficiency, exterior disorders or yin deficiency with heat signs, qi or blood deficiency, heat from deficiency in the lungs, any condition with cold in the middle burner, liver wind patterns, headaches due to ascendant liver yang, excessive menstrual bleeding or heat excess; 4) for sores due to qi deficiency (those with clear exudates), yin ulcers or carbuncles that have already ulcerated, fully erupted measles or open sores; or 5) if pregnant or breastfeeding. 清火消炎的几个中成药
当人有痛眩晕，目赤耳鸣，咽喉肿痛，口舌生疮，牙龈肿痛，大便干燥等需要用药的时候，有人选择清热泻火类中成药，都有散风止痛的作用。那么作用与功效有何区别?
1) 速效热气清片(如上图)
主要成分(Medicinal Ingredients/Ingredients medicinaux)：
石膏Gypsum,shi gao(calcium sulfates/les sulfates de calcium)
大青叶Isatis Tinctoria , daqingye(leaf/feuille)(3:1 QCE 400mg)
薄荷脑Menthol,menthol(synthetic/synthetique)
大黄Rheum Palmatum , dahuang (root/racine)
速效热气清片以清热解毒药为主，攻泻肺胃蕴热。成分：牛黄，黄芩，黄莲，黄柏，栀子，大黄，再加石膏，金银花，连翘，薄荷，防风，菊花等。配方有“驱邪不伤正”之称。常用于治疗肺胃蕴热引起：头目晕眩，口舌生疮，风火牙痛，爆发火眼，咽喉肿痛，腮痒红肿，耳鸣肿痛，大便秘结，皮肤刺痒。
速效热气清片是小片剂，和一般西药片剂相似，用量小，且方便，容易为西方人士接受。
2)牛黄上清丸
牛黄上清丸是由牛黄、黄连、大黄、黄芩、连翘、栀子、生石膏、菊花等中药组成。
牛黄是方剂中的主药，牛黄不仅具清热降火、解毒的功效，而且具有清心、开窍、镇静、安神的功能，是治疗上焦火旺或心火炽盛所至神经症状如头晕、目眩、烦躁失眠、怔忡、头痛等症的主药。黄连、黄芩是清中上焦火的主药，大黄、栀子能清心火而除烦躁，并泻大肠实热以通便，连翘能清热解毒，生石膏能清肺热而除烦，菊花能清肝火而明目。以上诸药组成的牛黄上清丸具有清热降火、解毒、除烦、疏风等功效。常用于治疗因上焦火盛及心火上炎所至的头痛、目眩、目赤耳鸣、口舌生疮、胸闷烦躁，口渴咽干、大便燥结等症。
3) 黄连上清丸
黄连上清丸为17味药，方中除黄连、黄芩、栀子、大黄、连翘、芥穗、菊花、荆芥穗、白芷、薄荷等14味药与牛黄上清丸成分相同外，方中没有牛黄、冰片、赤芍、地黄、当归，而增加蔓荆子、防风以疏散风热;旋复花以降逆中和，使风、热双解，起到清风散火、通便止痛的作用。方剂中黄连、黄芩、栀子和大黄虽然也是起着清热降火、解毒通便的作用。但由于缺少牛黄则清热降炎除烦及镇惊的功能不如牛黄上清丸强。方剂中配以菊花能清肝明目，配以芥穗以理头风而止头痛。因此，黄连上清丸在临床上常用于治疗一般火盛所至的头痛、头晕、目眩、口舌生疮、咽喉肿痛、牙龈红肿、便干口燥等症。
其实对症下药最好，根据临床中医师的诊断，注意说明书中的慎用或禁忌，这样才能发挥药物最好的效力。
